This illustration shows an example of an Oracle Streams single-source replication environment.

The source database includes:

• An ANYDATA queue

• Supplemental logging specifications

• A capture process and/or synchronous capture

• One propagation for each destination database

• Rule sets for the capture process and/or synchronous capture and the propagations

• Each shared object prepared for instantiation

• A database link to the destination database for propagation

The destination database includes:

• An ANYDATA queue

• Instantiation SCN set for each shared object

• An apply process for the source database

• Rule sets for the apply process

The environment can include additional destination databases.
